These terms govern your use of the Sate's £1 Sandwiches website at satesandwiches.com and our mobile app. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About us

Sate's £1 Sandwiches is a delivery-only café operating from Perry Barr, Birmingham. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean Sate's £1 Sandwiches. References to "you" mean the customer placing an order or using the app.

2. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may refuse or cancel an order if:

  • An item is out of stock
  • The delivery address is outside our service area
  • We suspect fraudulent or abusive use of the service
  • Payment cannot be authorised

An order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation on screen or by email. Until that point, no contract has been formed.

3. Pricing & payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery fees, minimum order values, and any promotions are shown clearly at checkout.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Card payments – processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Cash on delivery – paid in cash to the driver on arrival. Exact change appreciated.

4. Delivery & collection

We deliver to selected postcodes around Perry Barr, Birmingham. The available area, minimum order value, and any delivery fees are shown at checkout. Collection (pickup) may also be offered for some orders.

Estimated delivery times are guidelines, not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, incorrect address details, or other events outside our reasonable control.

5. Cancellations & refunds

Because our food is freshly made, you may cancel an order only before it has been prepared. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible at info@satesandwiches.com.

If you receive an incorrect, missing, or damaged item, please tell us within 24 hours and we will arrange a refund or replacement. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 3–5 working days to appear.

6. Allergens & food safety

Our food is prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens including gluten, milk, eggs, soya, mustard, sesame, and nuts. We cannot guarantee any item is free from traces of these allergens.

If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please contact us before ordering at info@satesandwiches.com. By placing an order, you confirm you have considered any allergen risk.

7. Accounts

You may create an account to save your details, track orders, and earn loyalty rewards. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing info@satesandwiches.com. We may suspend or close accounts for misuse, fraudulent activity, or breach of these terms.

8. Loyalty & promotions

Loyalty rewards and promotional codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may add, change, or end any promotion at any time. We reserve the right to disqualify customers from promotions where we reasonably suspect misuse.

9. Acceptable use

When using our service, you agree not to:

  • Place fraudulent or speculative orders
  • Abuse or harass our staff or delivery drivers
  • Attempt to access parts of the service you are not authorised to use
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the website or app

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

11. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
